Description

This Korean dry rub is a vibrant blend of sweet, savory, and spicy notes, designed to bring the bold flavors of Korean cuisine to your home cooking. Imagine the rich, caramelized sweetness of brown sugar mingling with the umami depth of soy sauce and garlic, all balanced by a gentle heat from cayenne and chili flakes. The toasted sesame seeds add a nutty complexity, while ginger and white pepper provide a subtle warmth. A touch of citric acid brightens the overall flavor profile, ensuring a well-rounded and irresistible seasoning.

Ingredients: Sugar, brown sugar, sesame seed, garlic, salt, ginger, soy sauce powder (soy sauce [water, wheat, soybeans, salt] maltodextrin and salt), cayenne, onion, white pepper, black pepper, chili flakes, citric acid CONTAINS: SOY, SESAME, WHEAT

  • Korean BBQ Chicken Wings: Toss chicken wings in the dry rub and bake, grill, or air fry until crispy. Serve with a side of gochujang dipping sauce.
  • Spicy Pork Belly: Rub pork belly with the seasoning and roast or grill until the skin is crispy and the meat is tender. Serve sliced with rice and kimchi.
  • Korean Tofu Stir-Fry: Press and cube tofu, then coat with the dry rub and pan-fry until golden brown. Add to a stir-fry with your favorite vegetables and a drizzle of sesame oil.
  • Korean Beef Short Ribs (Galbi): Coat short ribs with the dry rub and marinate for at least an hour, or overnight for best results. Grill or braise until tender and caramelized.
  • Korean BBQ Burgers: Mix the dry rub into ground beef patties and grill or pan-fry. Top with kimchi, gochujang mayo, and a fried egg for an authentic Korean burger experience.
  • Seasoning for Roasted Vegetables: Toss vegetables like carrots, broccoli, and bell peppers with olive oil and the dry rub, then roast until tender and caramelized.
  • Korean Fried Chicken: Use the dry rub to season the chicken before frying for a korean style fried chicken.
